Chihuahua puppy training is a challenge partly because the puppies are so small. Being very gentle with your puppy is a must because the puppies are frail and often easily frightened. But with patience and persistence, you can usually make quick progress toward your training goals. You do have training goals, right?
Socialization
Chihuahua puppy care includes proper socialization. Socialization best occurs before the puppy is 3 months old. Avoid frightening and painful experiences. Try some of the following.
* Invite friends to meet your Chihuahua.
* Carry your puppy to places where there are groups of people.
* Take your pup for car rides.
* Introduce your puppy to being bathed, brushed and inspected.
* Let your puppy experience anything and everything you wish them to become comfortable around.
Behavior Training
Gentle training is a must for Chihuahua puppy training if you expect to have a well balanced adult dog. Discipline must be done with kindness and patience, never by slapping, hitting and kicking. One way to keep your pup or dog looking clean and nicely groomed is to groom on a regular basis. Making a daily habit of grooming for a few minutes a day will help your pup’s coat look top-notch. If you don’t have that much time to spend, try every couple of days.
The General Grooming
For short coats, a natural bristle brush will help distribute the oils in your Chihuahua’s hair, a rubber bristle brush removes dead hair, and a flea comb will help you check for fleas. Long coats will do best with a pin brush or a wide-tooth comb. Use a hair de-tangle solution to aid in brushing out mats. When grooming your pup, pay special attention to the eyes and ears.

A beagle pup is a great thing to get for you and your family as they make great family dogs and can be a lot of fun to raise and watch grow up. But beagle puppies require a lot of patience and beagle puppy care is not as easy as it may seem. Take the time to do some research on how to raise your beagle pup the right way so that it stays healthy and grows into a great family dog. Always keep your vet involved with regular appointments and consultations if something should go wrong.
Rule number one, and probably the most important thing to remember that goes right along with patience, is to know what to expect from your beagle pup as it develops and grows. A three-month-old beagle is not going to be able to be taught the same things as a ten-month-old would.
